Dragon's Den duo see product take off
Two business students have seen their innovative electronic menu take-off - despite being booted out of the Dragon's Den.
University of Hertfordshire students Eli Huttner and Rowland Omamor failed to attract investment for their product in the den but have since seen it picked up by a local restaurant, the Welwyn and Hatfield Times reports.
New restaurant Luthers has decided to try the product and restaurant manager Tony Singh revealed that he can't wait to see it in action.
"We are very excited to be getting this new device, it is an exciting, new and fresh idea, he told the publication.
"We will use it at lunchtimes, which is a very busy period of the day and it will be a great help.
"Not only will it save us time but it will save time for those people who come in and only have an hour for lunch," he added.
The duo revealed that they were currently in talks to provide their menus to a large restaurant chain.
