bssa Sales Monitor survey launched

The British Shops and Stores Assosiation (bssa) has opened its Sales Monitor survey for the quarter to March.

The Association which is commited to raising the profile of independent retailers is urging for retailers to take a few minutes to complete the on-line survey before the 14th April.

The bssa has created this new form of quarterly sales monitor to reflect the sales performance and consumer spending from the perspective of the small and medium sized retailer.

Proactively representing the interests and concerns of its members, the bssa has created a new form of quarterly sales monitor, more accurately reflecting sales performance and consumer spending from the unique viewpoint of the small and medium-sized independent retailer.

Unlike the British Retail Consortium Retail Sales Monitor which includes data from the multiples and the food and drink sector this report aims to provide a real snapshot of the health of the high street for independent retailers operating in the non-food sector.

Commitment to and on-going support from independent retailer for bssa’s Sales Monitor is vital in helping to form a statistically significant and accurate view of trading patterns within independent shops and stores.

The survey will be hosted online and take just minutes to complete. The bssa stresses that you will not be identified, your details will remain confidential and you will have access to the results in due course.

To participate just click on one of the links below and submit by no later than 14 April 2008.
